History

YARDS BETTER was founded in 2023 by Robert Dykeman, based on his passion to keep yards looking great.  With over 10 years of experience, Robert set out to create a company that provided exceptional lawn care services at affordable prices and is ready to turn your chore into a positive experience that you can enjoy rather than stress over.

Services

Lawn care services include mowing, edging, trimming and blowing.  Landscaping services include weeding, leaf blowing with or without removal, mulching, and hedge trimming. Other services include yard debris and junk removal, small tree and shrub removal, gutter cleaning, and deck pressure washing and repair. 

YARDS BETTER can also string yard lights to help create an inviting outdoor living space.

    Yard Services

    Offering weekly, every other week, and one time services

    Lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing sidewalks, paths, driveway

    Up to 1/2 acre:               $50-75 per visit

    1/2 acre to 1 1/2 acres:  $100-125 per visit

    1 1/2 acre to 3 acres:     $200 per visit

    Over 3 acres:                  Call for quote 

    Leaf Blowing / Removal

    1/2 acre & under WITHOUT removal:  $50

    1/2 acre & under WITH removal:  $75


    1/2 to 1.5 acre WITHOUT removal:  $100

    1/2 to 1.5 acre WITH removal:  $125


    1.5 to 3 acre WITHOUT removal:  $300

    1.5 to 3 acre WITH removal:  $325


    Over 3 acres:  Call for quote

    Hedge Trimming

    Send photos and call for quote

    Mulching

    Dependent on location, materials, and quantities

    Call for quote

    Bed Weeding and Planting

    Dependent on location, materials, and quantities

    Call for quote

    Small Tree & Shrub Removal & Haul Away

    Up to 20 feet tall: $200 (does not include stump grinding)

    Gutter Cleaning

    Up to 1500 sq ft, one story house:  $100

    1500 - 2500 sq ft, one story house: $150 

    Two story homes - call for quote (subject to review)

    Deck Pressure Washing

    Dependent on size and design - Call for quote

    Deck Repair

    Dependent on needs - Call for quote

    Junk Haul Away
